The official Mölkky rules, in short:

• Knock down one pin and you score its number. Knock down two or more and you score the number of pins that fell.
• Be the first to reach exactly 50. If you go over 50, your score drops back to 25.
• Three misses in a row and you are out of the game. A throw that scores resets the count.
• A pin counts as fallen only if it lies completely on the ground. Fallen pins are stood back up where they fell.

Yes. Before a game starts, the Rules screen lets you change:

• the target score (20–100),
• whether going over drops you back, and to what score,
• the miss limit (2–5, or off) and what happens when it is reached (out of the game, or score to zero),
• the starting order, and the order for a rematch.
• The official rules are preselected, and the app remembers the rules you used last.

Use it when a throw breaks the rules, for example when you step over the throwing line. It scores 0 points and counts as a miss.

No. Everything works offline, including the how-to-play guide. An internet connection is only used to show ads and to check for app updates.

No. The game is saved after every throw. Open the app and choose Continue game.

There is no account and no cloud sync, so the app does not move your data to a new phone by itself. Games, players and settings are stored only on the device.

If you restore a full backup of your old phone (iCloud or Google backup), the app’s data may come along, depending on your backup settings. Otherwise you start fresh on the new phone.

Open Settings → Ads and privacy in the app. Where consent applies (for example in the EU), there is an Ad privacy settings button that reopens Google’s consent form.

On iPhone you can also change the tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset your advertising ID in your phone’s settings. See the privacy policy for details.

Delete the app from your phone. All games, players, settings and the background picture are removed with it.
